I use em dashes a lot (and have for decades) and my experience with AI is that it has no idea how to use or even format em dashes correctly.

Dana Portwood Crone in Training Subscribe | work at the public library which means | see the books leaving and coming back in, and | can tell you this, my community is scared of what's happening and what is likely to happen, and they intend to go down fighting. They are learning skills and reading about politics like I've never seen. And the books parents are choosing for their kids: allyship, inclusive, multi-culturalism. It's beautiful. I'm making new cards for people by the literal dozen. This is why facists hate libraries. It's where people go to gird their fucking loins. We love to see it.

PRO TIP: check out books from the library — their funding is often tied to circulation, you can literally keep them in operation by just shamelessly borrowing as many books as you can carry.
