almost there...

so....my HDD of not even 1 year died...and one of the assets i was working on was stored there....luckily i moved all other assets way before it died but now i have to redo the entire building which took me DAYS to make fucking Altex piece of shit store a chinese knockoff would last longer....

so quick recap:ive been busy with other projects and work so i had little time to work on the game BUT i did some progress and the beta is (technically) ready HOWEVER i decided that releasing it in this state would be not a very good beta so im gona take some more time,sorry but here is a peek 👁️👁️

silksong is now making me realize that we lost a very important and special thing when we abandoned CDs and physical media,ive died more times due to questionable game design than the actual bosses and i cant pretend i like the game anymore,its not hollow knight,its just empty paladin atp

this was....a bit underwelming? the final boss was very easy i could have done it even with the beast crest....but still a good game,they cooked and now i have to get back to cooking too

so i finished streaming the oblivion remastered (nobody joined fortunately so they wont see how new i am at the game) as someone who never played oblivion the game is nice but since its a unreal engine game i have to talk about poor optimization and random crashes,sorry not sorry

want to know the real reason why i changed engine? THIS,i didn't open godot for a MONTH nor did i touch the files,it just does this,all these errors were not here when i opened it last time,im not saying the engine is bad but it sure has its flaws....

given certain circumstances i am considering the switch from godot to unity,since i am using C# (and i refuse learning that ugly language) i find it hard to progress with godot (especially on input handling this is why the new update doesent save input) what will this mean for the game? hold....
