yeah i always attributed it to lower activity bc most people Didn't leave twt but then i see so many artists doing very well and im like Oh so there's more to it.. the original art thing makes sense too!

yeah!! i have more followers on tumblr just bc ive used it way longer but most of my engagement doesn't even come from people who follow me im p sure! people there just tend to share rather than just like so things spread easily

unrelated i wish i could draw more i want to create things so badddd i wish i felt capable of bringing my boldest ideas to life or had the motivation to practice and get there eventually I wish i felt like drawing the things i love all the time and not just randomly for a few weeks at a time!!! alas

yeah ig it varies from person to person and mayb it also takes time! audiences just interact so differently in different platforms it shocks me a little

maybe tumblr is just TOO GOOD i truly dont think that as an artist you can receive the warmth that you get there anywhere else and maybe that's fine
