I am also very curious about how team cherry handles feedback and communicates what they are doing now, when it comes to patches and updates. I do hope they communicate more about what they are doing when it comes to the game.

Yes they wanted the game to hurt, and I definitely don't think the game should be easier. But having something be unfair in a way that undercuts the players investment is something that only rage games do, and silksong is not that type of game.

Don't get me wrong, I do love the game and it's obvious that the developers are talented and know how to make a good game, but I do also think that the game has flaws and I think that overall some things could be conveyed better.

Yes absolutely, but playtesting is more than just finding bugs and unpolished features. It also detects if something is poorly shown (boss fights and level design in general) if things are poorly paced, both narrative, difficulty curve, upgrades/power ups, and more.
