Finally played Horses! Have thoughts that may materialize in a few days. In short, I do like it very much though

I'm still a psycho trying to climb this thing I'm almost a month in

Thinking of giving up tbh but at this point it's kinda embarrassing to do so

If it's a toy then it make sense that some people think that games should only appeal to people with childlike sensibilities

The Horses thing is making me feel crazy in a very different way than other discourse. Games are treated very differently from film mainly because the very people who play games still see the medium as a T O Y

I think a lot of people who play games are not ready to have adult conversations

I do want that gig but with the number of freelancers vying at that job I know I'm not going to be at the top of their consideration pile

He has had the world's most lukewarm takes of all time, for a long time

The only exception is when you're talking about Wicked or the Wizard of Oz

People who use the word "strawman" unironically are almost always wrong

I have a feeling that the game has garnered an (undeserved) rep for being pornographic in the worst way, which has made some mgmt dudes at EGS feel particularly antsy about the situation. Anyway, horrible news all around
