Yesterday was my half-birthday. Because my real birthday is on Christmas day, my family celebrates my birthday 6 months later so as not to bankrupt people.

As an Echo Park Neighborhood Council member, I attended a budget symposium for the city of LA today.

ICE raids have cost our budget $32M, & that's before accounting for loss of business, tourism & labor.

& it's after paying for wildfire recovery.
