So much of my free time is dead 😭. I've been starting to exercise recently to keep in shape more and to get the body I want, but that means less time for chess. Still worth it tho 🔥

I love "Would You Fall In Love With Me Again" so much. I've been listening to the Epic musical every single day, multiple times a day, for the past month lol. It's so amazing

Playing the violin again has been very relaxing :)

Tbh, my roommate helped me realize the autonomy in my life was slowly making me feel uneasy. I think gotta do something else for a little bit. I'll probably get back into playing my violin and taking a tiny break from chess except for the tourneys and my club. It's been 2 years since I've touched it

I got 2nd place at my tournament unfortunately, but still a good result! I was winning against the guy who got 1st place and I would've gotten 1st too, and I think I lost my train of thought for a moment and blundered. I had a fork in front of me and I didn't fork his pieces for some reason...

Anyways, aside from the hrt progress, I'm gonna try and improve my chess tonight. My club pres let me borrow some of his books. Now I have "Excelling At Positional Chess", "My 60 Memorable Games", and "Winning With The Catalan" to read!

Work felt so weird today lol. I felt weird walking, and I can definitely tell that things are changing. No physical changes yet, but the sensations and feelings are different

Oh gosh. I just woke up after a nap, and I feel weak, and I don't wanna go to work in an hour. I finally got my estrodial today which was super exciting for me, but oh gosh do I feel so tired from it rn, and weak for now lol

Aside from black being passive there is actually one good thing white has here. It's that when you push the c pawn, white gets a passer(eval is like close to +2 or something)

It's still winning for white due to the position and black being passive

The point of this puzzle is to be more convincingly winning. Also, puzzles are made to find only the best line. This line guarantees a pawn and exchange

Kg7, Nxd8, Rxd8 traps the queen

The trick of the puzzle is just the exchange itself haha. White's queen looks trapped after that until you find the right move

This is a cool puzzle I just got in one of my games. It looks like a completely normal position, but there is more than meets the eye! White to play and win!

What black can do here shocked me, and I actually thought I was losing for a second until I figured it out lol

Been a while since I posted a chess game of mine. Fun King's Gambit miniature I got where my opponent didn't know what to do after h4. There were many ways to win in this game, but I tried getting a cool mate by dragging the king to the center of the board lol
