I've been in the Kirsten Dunst-iverse lately, and not only is she a phenomenal actress, she is apparently pretty progressive! She endorsed Bernie and is a practicing Christian, which kinda shocked me. Great movie and a new favorite, 4/5 stars

I don't typically watch movies alone, but I decided to watch Yes, Madam! this afternoon and it was so worth it. Michelle Yeoh has only become more gorgeous with time and I enjoyed both the leading ladies' performances. The side characters are so funny and the fight choreography is striking.

I'm hopeful that the artists will build a better platform for themselves. Until then, I'll be dreaming of worker-cooperative streaming while I show my support.

I still really respect the efforts made by @umaw.bsky.social to advocate for higher pay for the musicians that are forced to use the platform (and others). I'm ready to boycott with my money and support the artists I love in other ways.

Obviously Spotify's algorithm has only improved over since it launched, scaled in direct relation to how much data it has collected on its subscribers. Daniel Ek's vision for the company has also run it into the ground, in addition to funding weapons of war. It's all bad.
