✅ What is safe (for now)? The #ozonelayer is recovering, the #atmospheric aerosol load remains fragile, but the #novelentities (such as chemicals and plastics) are in a high-risk zone.

🌎 The Planetary Health Check 2025, presented by @sthlmresilience.bsky.social, has sounded the alarm: 7 out of 9 #planetaryboundaries have been already breached —and the time to act is now.

“This COP cannot end without a clear, just and equitable roadmap for the global phase-out of #fossilfuels,” said Colombia’s environmental minister Irene Vélez.

“This declaration is grounded in a simple scientific truth: Fossil fuels are the primary driver of the climate crisis.”

At #COP30, 🇨🇴 Colombia has announced the “Belém declaration on the transition away from fossil fuels,” a coalition of 24 countries calling for a plan to phase out coal, oil & gas. 🇨🇴
