Summer streets started at 7 am this morning. I rode 10 miles to start at the north end at 7:30 and did 10 hilly miles on quiet, carefree city streets before the crowds showed up. 🤗

Had a great time on my mountain-bike ride today, but the air was very wam and humid, so I was, shall we say, glistening by the end. The woman in the kayak had the right idea.

So I think I'm going to pull the trigger on an E Bike tomorrow. I'm going to do a Velotric Fold Plus. Test drove it today and utterly fell in love. Ordering one in Blue.

Birthday in the group today, so we headed to Katwijk for lunch. Initially across a very busy dune path.

Lots of sport cyclist types out. I often wonder, do they spend the week riding their Dutch bikes, then switch to Lycra at the weekends or are they the ones driving the big Audi SUVs? 🧵
