Removing someone's access without sending them a "Your access will be removed in 14/7/2/1 days" email on at least 2 occasions including the day before is bad practice too IMO. Sorry you're dealing with this.

When I worked in University IT we always waited 6 months to a year after departure to deactivate emails for exactly this reason. The only times we immediately deactivated an email is if someone was fired for cause and they were a threat to the university still having it.

I never understood why I ate so much rotisserie chicken growing up. Now that I'm an adult, It makes so much sense why my parents found it a very appealing option for feeding 4 children.

-Open borders (goods + people)
-UBI funded by land value taxes
-Zoning Reform
-Gov't investment in renewable energy

I think this agenda could make the country more prosperous with minimal market disruption/redistribution

The reason people are invoking his death is to support the idea that IP law should be enforced more strictly. That is the problem at the core of this all, that the whole purpose of bringing him up is to support an idea he would have abhorred.

If you actually read the papers linked on the page they are uniformly about treatment providers or policy makers making worse choices if they hold negative views of addicts. That is an orthogonal point to mine.
