I just made a batch of Gochujang Caramel Cookies from a NYT recipe and people, this reviewer is not wrong. They taste like both chewy and crispy Snickerdoodles that have ribbons of sweet chili heat as you chew. 🤩

I immediately started crying when I opened it. My father instilled a deep and abiding love of these books in me when I was little. He’s now dealing with dementia and just listens to the audiobooks over and over. Definitely going to cherish this edition, along with the well-worn one from my dad. 💗
