It's really dawning on me how much it is contained to the political and journalist classes. I'm a non passing, non voice trained and tall trans woman and I rarely get bothered in public. There just isn't the appetite and the only people who do get funny with me are generally all round nasty bigots

My introduction to the law took place when I was a child & discovered my being gay was a crime with a jail sentence [or worse, walled up in the Central Mental Hospital to be experimented on]. As a result, like many minorities, I realised that the law was about oppression & not rights [1]

it's their claim that 'gender critical' is a grass roots movement.

it's a ruling class bigotry sparked and spurred on by the american religious right. it's a media and political class bigotry.

Just finished reading it. My impression is it's a quite sensible list of small improvements the NHS can implement to fix the busted system they currently have. Nothing big like self ID, but overall positive. Point 283 is interesting - they have 10 times more follow ups than first calls.
