This Sunday I’ll perform with Vleesch Doch Visch (with Jasper de Beer and Ellen van Vliet) at the @liefdesnacht ‘s annual matinee concert at Zaal100. We’ll play songs by Abdullah Ibrahim, Ibrahim Maalouf and others.

There will be a bunch of other great bands playing so do come and see this concert!

Dick was ook nauw betrokken bij de totstandkoming van de muziek van mijn debuutalbum Spoken. Fijn dat ik je vorige week nog heb gezien en gesproken en voor je gespeeld met Sean. Je werd omringd door liefde. Ik zal je missen, Dick!

Afgelopen maandag overleed mijn goede vriend regisseur Dick Hauser. Ik leerde hem kennen via verschillende voorstellingen van de Amsterdam Klezmer Band waar hij de regie van deed. Dit portret werd gemaakt door Thomas Huisman tijdens de montage van ons jubileumconcert in Carré in 2021.
