A massive game of Warhammer Fantasy Battle about to start. Orcs and undead prepare to ambush a caravan of wagons and troops. There are hundreds if not thousands of figures on the table.

Witch hunters patrol the streets of a fantasy city in a game of Mordheim.

A game of Warhammer 40,000 in progress, featuring classic adobe Ork builings and spiky green cacti.

A game of the skirmish game Necropolis in progress on a small board that features a terrain piece in the shape of an enormous heart pumbing blood through pipes that run across the board.

Ten resin Viking runestones, each glued to an irregularly shaped base, bases covered within sand and grit.

Duty called, so most of yesterday was a dead loss on the hobby front. Put ten of the excellent Viking runestones from @fenrisgames.com on some MacGuffin/objective bases from Warbases yesterday evening and let them dry overnight.

I never owned a Squat army back in the day but I always coveted them. I spent many an hour pouring over the army list in the old 40k Compendium. I thought it would be fun to paint one in the same scheme as my Epic army.

A three legged VSF walker painted grey on a green, temperate base. It has the union flag on its legs and the № ‘11’ on its ‘torso’.

Had a bit of fun with some VSF bits from the catalogue. The tripod walker legs and hips, the anti-neff mount and a standard rotating cannon 😁

It’ll more than likely be absolute rubbish in a game but it looks fun 😂
