Seawatch Festival day 2 is go!!!!!
Sooty Shearwater, Arctic Skua and strong Tern passage already this morning, join us 7am-11am and 4pm-7pm today and tomorrow
First session done!!
Highlights being adult Pomarine Skua, Black Tern, 2 Little Tern, several Sooty Shearwater and lots of Little Gull.
See you back at the observatory at 4pm!

A good days seawatching with Great Shearwater, 91 Sooty Shearwater, 3 Long-tailed Skua, 2 Roseate Terns, 1518 Little Gull plus much more. On land Cetti’s Warbler and Cuckoo also a Whinchat at RSPB Bempton.

A red letter day with an Alpine Accentor that was seen only by the finder, a Red-rumped Swallow near the lighthouse, first Hobby of the year plus a good assortment of waders.

Absolute belter of a day at @flamboroughbird.bsky.social today with first Reed & Sedge Warblers of year followed by a spring Yellow-browed Warbler and delicious Ring Ouzel but a Spotted Crake was the icing on the cake, what a place!!!
