I don't want candidates to waste limited media time detailing policy views. Staunch opposition now is the best path to preserving Dems' ability to enact good policy later.

They question Hillary, who didn't know Epstein, ignore Melania, who did. As if no one could suspect unsavory aspects to a nude model's time with a sex trafficker, why even ask what she knew about him. They'd rather smile & nod as billionaires curry favor by making Trump's wife a Potemkin movie star.

Agree with all their positions not, it's a relief to see Dems show this much charm & charisma. We're blessed with many (if not enough) solid Dems, smart & sharp, working as hard as anyone could reasonably hope...but in terms of winning elections? Endearing wins, solid gets nibbled to death by ducks.

He pretends S122 of Trade Act allows global tariffs. It does not. It OKs circumventing Congress for 150 days for "large & serious balance-of-payments deficits" with nations importing much more than they export

Can companies refuse to pay Trump’s illegal tariffs now, citing SCOTUS ruling? Can purchasers collect their imports or are goods withheld pending payment of however much Trump, on a whim, illegally demands that day? (This is assuming Trump doesn’t TACO on this.)

When Trump says of Gorsuch & Coney-Barrett joining the majority, "I think it’s an embarrassment to their families," is it meant as a dogwhistle? Is he telling his cult it's okay to harass the families of people disloyal to him?

It's terrifying how crazy he sounds. He's working himself up to do something deranged, something irrational even by his standards.
