I had spent years being really messed up. I worked hard to get ready to start HRT - no therapy, lots of shadow work and growth. I really would not have been ready to transition any sooner.

I used to beat myself up about waiting so long - I was 53 when I started 11 years ago. But the truth is, I was not ready. When I started was the right time, because I was ready to fully step into myself.

A couple of years ago I added ideas from “Sigil Witchery” by Laura Tempest Zakroff. I like her approach, it is less formal and more intuitive than Cooper, and utilizes basic magical shapes and symbols found in cultures around the world from the early cave paintings to modern times.

Way way back when I was first learning magic I bought a copy of Phillip Cooper’s “Basic Magick.” He leaned heavily into sigils, so that was foundational to me.

I use sigils and icons and vision boards as part of my regular practice.

That is a cool expression.

I often type it out and edit down, playing with words and pacing, then hand write to get the actual tight focus.

50/50 on using that as the spell or using it as a script for spoken.

She is corrupt and serves evil. She is useful because she has skills and uses them competently.

“Skills” and “competency” have nothing to do with evil or corrupt.

Attacking her looks instead of her historical and current actions is simple misogyny.

Tell them the new “merit” standards are built on how much money you already have and skills that can be exploited by the billionaire.

Being nasty to people is easy and common and has zero value by itself.

Without money and exploitable skills they’ll never be noticed.
