Transmission Tranquility

The Ghost Buckeye (Junonia prosopon), descended from a species driven extinct by habitat loss, evolved to ward off humans.
When spotted, they display the uncanny face-like patterns on their wings. This image has inspired folklore stories, marking whole areas of forest as haunted.

It's a bursting profusion of life, all poisonous, including the snails, the strawberry poison dart frogs, and the hickory tussock moth.
