Always wanted to fully 100% Z3 and I finally got around to it. EXtrance is one of the worst things I've ever played lol.

It's actually several hours more than this, GM8 doesn't keep track of how many frames into the second you were when you die and reset.

The fact I reached a skill level with precision needle to beat this game doesn't feel real.

Was always somewhat interested in this game, I think it's a lot easier than people said but it had some tricky bits still.

-turned it into something much harder, idk why but that's always be fascinating to me and always gets me excited to see what it's like. It's not as common in fangames but something like K3+ really just speaks to me in that regard, it's the exact thing that gets me irrationally excited.

I don't know why but since I was quite young I was always obsessed with remixed/reimagined versions of existing things in video games, particularly related to my hyper-fixations. When I initially got into SM64 romhacks part of the appeal of kaizo hacks was how many took an existing easy level and-

Watched Madoka Magica with Kiyoshi, that was pretty wild man, I adored it so much and it was so compelling. Extremely excited to watch the movie soon.

Also in regards to Odyssey, the game definitely got attention when I streamed it and uploaded my clear video, it's just so hard that the average fangame player can't play it lol, it only has 6 clears right now and the final boss is on ahof, harder than Noesis's final boss.

adventure games. Maybe you can quantify it as "dying" if you only care about specific aspects but it's more-so a shift in the player base and what they care about and do, but for the people engaging in them, which is many people, it's a thriving community.

within the larger fangame community that are thriving. As someone who is familiar with a lot of the current active fangame players, a lot of them just don't have interest in things like streaming, and a lot of the active players specialize in needle or avoidance as opposed to playing the newest...

There's definitely metrics in which fangames can be seen as "dying." Notably streams, not nearly as many people streaming fangames to a largeish audience, but at the same time in many ways they are doing great. There's so many new makers, so many new players constantly, so many sub-communities...

Weird game, mostly fun but I can't deny it got really frustrating at points.
