I'm hardly the first to comment on it, but the Catholic soteriology baked into the Lord of the Rings is pretty remarkable
Like, Frodo had to engage in Works to destroy the Ring. He had to get there. But Grace - Gollum's accidental fall - is what was needed for the "last mile" of salvation
It gets _really_ weird at that level. Abstract is the only way. Itβs like trinitarianism - if you can understand it, you are definitely doing something wrong. If you have an analogy for itβ¦you are doing it even more wrong. Drugs help, or so Iβm told.
01.02.2026 05:49 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0May be it's not Christianity that gives
It's people that bend christiniaty to their own claim rather than it's own claim through exegetical scripture, thus having a buffet of false doctrines and theologies
Fun take. Christianity is like AI in that it attempts to propagate by telling people whatever they want to hear. You want to do Conquistador Theology? Good. You Want to do Liberation Theology? Also good.

A visual representation of the TenCRAOS trial, which assessed whether tenecteplase, an established treatment for acute ischemic stroke and myocardial infarction, could improve outcomes in acute central retinal artery occlusion.
Phase 3 TenCRAOS trial: Central retinal artery occlusion carries a high risk of permanent blindness if prompt reperfusion is not achieved. Research findings evaluating the efficacy and safety of tenecteplase for this condition are summarized in a new Quick Take video. nej.md/4qFINvS

Human rule was never YHWH's ways.
I don't know if my arguement of "Let us go back to the ideal that you all have failed to understand" a radical claim, probably it is may be I am being myopic, however I am being cautious because I am not a fan of radical deconstruction
2/3 Hope I am not mistaken to be a a fan of systems built by men, Absolutely not. Systems are flawed but how many radical deconstruction movements have paid it off, I don't think there's any. Only reforms, revivals that advocate for "Return to the roots" have yielded.
31.01.2026 10:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 03/3 Radical deconstruction by ignorant vessels is a dead end, radical deconstruction without an ideal comperative will lead us to the gulags, being picky on scripture without drawing from it's own terms but on our terms is a DEAD END

30.01.2026 06:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0By arguing he is not radical, I mean His primary reason to come wasn't to change that was in place. That's not his reason, he was advocating for what YHWH was always saying through the Patriachs the law judges and prophets but was not understood or put into action.
30.01.2026 05:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 02/2It's more of YOU GUYS DIDNT UNDERSTAND MY FATHER'S WAYS, HERE! THIS IS THE IDEAL" that's why he always quoted scripture with authority
30.01.2026 05:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Your position is obviously understood, there's no faith without obedience, obedience is the proof you have faith in YHWH example is Abraham
Ohhh, creeds have serious problems and luckily I only recited those when I was still young because of my Anglican background.
Though they helped Christians
I wouldn't say Christ was radical, Isreal as a nation was supposed to do what he came to do, we as well are supposed to do what he did, even if we fail it doesn't change the fact that it's the ideal. Adam (humanity) was supposed to spread YHWH's goodness on earth and Yehsuah came to show us that

I think we shouldn't use "legalism" to mean obedience to YHWH through his revealed wisdom (Torah). Moral laws are obligatory to whoever claims to be a Christian for they can be a basis for our ethical conduct in conjunction with humanity of Christ, for he is the perfect image
2/2
"Legalism" is different. It has been associated to Christian circles that claim salvation is through following the law, the law doesn't save anyone, Paul says it very clearly, the law is good because it's wisdom from YHWH but it can't save, salvation is only through Christ and obedience is key.
3/3
And by the way, Civil laws should be obligatory to whoever claims to be Christian because we should treat each other as a nation of priests. Paul tells us not to take each other to court, I think civil laws would be used to settle disputes.
I am not talking about theocracy.
It's above my pay grade to criticize other religions or boundaries. In Christianity, we have lost the importance of a universal standard of what's expected of followers, for *grace* alone. We condemn legalism as heresy; but allow practical theology to be defending the boundaries of white supremacy.
