Happily scanning this earlier, when on the other side of the door, the aged Church boiler heating system unexpectedly (and loudly) wheezes into life, sounding something very much like Boris Karloff's Im-ho-tep / Mummy rising from the sarcophagus!

It's just absurd, their product is perfect, it's easy to use, and there's entirely nothing therin that could be improved by the addition of Ai.

Not sure why, but that first photo took me straight back to growing up in Rural North East England in the early 80s everything looked exactly like this.

Seems to be initially on the side of the phone app, as an 'enhanced' kind of route planner tool, but I suspect it's the thin end of the wedge in terms of integration.

Given that Ordnance Survey is synonymous with some of the most trusted mapping in the world (and has been for a very long time) to gamble that reputation on the electric idiot lantern of Ai seems remarkably crass.

Can I ask anyone else who may be contacted by them, to make their feelings known as well.

As a lifetime user of Ordnance Survey mapping products for both work & pleasure, I frequently get asked (& am happy to) provide feedback.
Utterly dismayed however to open a questionnaire this morning asking me how receptive I'd be to OS integrating Ai into their services?!
