The rain is soft and steady this afternoon, hushing the world so I can be quiet and think. Feeling the urge to push forward with work but the subtle shifts come in the pause. So, I made tea and was just present. Me and my dog, listening to the rain. Feeling alive. It’s all part of the adventure.

Today marks four years since we lost my sister-in-law. I miss her laugh, her wit, her smile.

Together as a family, we treasure the memories.

She mattered. She always will.
