I am so, so sorry you're dealing with that. It's something a person can *think* they understand in theory, but the unrelenting nature of it is really hard to wrap your head around if you haven't dealt with it. I'm lucky mine was related to non-permanent issues, but even that was bad enough.

I should probably get an air purifier for the common area of my apartment. I've already got one for my bedroom. It's not even the cat hair, it's the massive amount of dust from the shitty HVAC system, but it would probably help with the fur too...
