If you haven’t before, you should jump into the rabbit hole of the artist Pamela Colman Smith. She was a really cool woman. Involved with folklore and mysticism. Fascinated by her really.

I believe they need to be in the forest. Ghost pipe is said to feed off of fungi symbiotic with certain tree species. If you manage to pull this off I'd love to see it!

A photograph I took of the plant sometimes called ghost pipe. This is a close up of the semi transparent and white plant with cedar and pine cones on the ground around it.

Ghost Plant is also known as Ghost Pipe, Corpse Plant, Fairy Pipe and Indian Pipe. The parasitic flower is associated with wolves in Coast Salish culture. Europeans with the ghost world. A folk remedy claims it can heal a broken heart after the death of a loved one #FolkloreThursday
