So are we getting DIY in #AEW?

Because that would be pretty cool

The women's tag belts haven't been dealt with well, and there are so many other mens belts that its hard to care

It feels like they really need to knuckle down and get their belts sorted out

None of that means diminishing the brilliant in-ring either

There's a lot of #AEW is cooking stuff right now, and in-ring I completely agree

And I'm not belittling that. It has to be the core of wrestling.

But both world title scenes are a complete mess

And they have bungled Rosa and Brodie who could have been proper people's favourites

Also...

The booking of the division has been incredibly lazy for a while

Never gave Toni a proper feud to build her title loss

Gave Stat absolutely nothing

Giving Thekla a defeat before crowning her in an un-earned rematch

Effectively jobbing out Thunder Rosa

And now ANOTHER rematch

Its really poor

I'd like to see Hangman and Swerve become a total bastard heel tag team

Sorry #AEW you can't call it a 'double main event' and expect us to think you've given the women's title the booking it deserved

For the bloody trios title of all things as well

I just really hate when wrestlers come in and disappear completely. Makes it very hard to invest in people.

And it may just be my opinion, but I think Dralistico is by far the weakest of any of the luchas weve seen in AEW

Mortos and Dralistico (twice) is as close as he's got to facing luchas in AEW singles matches

He's had 20 matches in WWE and his highest rated matches are an 8.22/10 with Ethan Page and an 8.05/10 which was a ladder match with seven other guys

His average is 6.6/10

If hes doing music stuff rather than wrestling it's probably for the best

But they are beating AEW in every department aren't they?

They're the number 2 promotion in the whole of wrestling right?

They've got such a strong reciprocal relationship with WWE that is only helping them!

I think those are literally similar examples in real sports

But if they aren't deemed examples then you sort of have to accept that wrestling isnt real sport and also accept it can therefore be a bit more flexible

And Thunder Rosa can't afford to lose if we are to take her seriously ever again as a title contender

Played properly that could have worked, but his ego didn't allow it and I think AEW didn't plan it out properly

It doesn't mean it can't work ever again

Personally I think if Hangman wins then the past 3 months have been entirely pointless with regards to the mens title
