Just something for #TTRPG designers out there: saying "we used AI cause we couldn't afford art" doesn't cut it. You are not entitled to art in your project. How would you react to an artist getting ChatGPT to fart out an RPG system and then publishing it?

I mean, I was still with the company at the time and was excited to see my system used in a new way. And by all accounts, the Laundry looks fun. It just would have been nice to be credited

Yup, it sucks. I'm very disappointed but not surprised. Its par for the course in regards to their behaviour and how little respect they have for creatives.

Today, out of morbid curiosity, I picked up a copy of The Laundry by Cubicle 7. Despite it using the rule system I designed, and copy pasting thousands of words I wrote, I am not included anywhere in the credits. I also outlined the whole book and designed the character sheet.

Oh well.

Scary news coming from a lot of board game publishers in the last few days. A lot of good people are going to be out of work because of this trade war. Sorry to all the passionate designers and creators that are affected by something completely out of their control
