#hobbystreak day 10: On to next base color on the Cataphract. He got a bit more, but that was the vibe of the figure.
Also washed the Jagermech after my green repaint yesterday. Plus more work on the Atlantean sword (but no pic as it looks the same as last night...just the opposite side)

Having some fun with basing and stone texture. Thanks @goonhammer.com for the marble recipe!

Continuing #GhostRegiment mechs with one of the new #Kurita pack figures. I love the Akuma - and no one will convince me they didn't intentionally make that chest divot the exact right size for a FPG decal.

Maybe itβs a bad idea to use an Atlas as the test model for my pirate force for #battletech but Iβve already started so lets see how it turns out!

tl;dr I no longer have a roommate lined up for when I move to Portland in July, which means that unless I find a job that pays me at least 20-25% more in the next two months I'm going to be homeless this summer
so if you know anyone hiring an edtech editor with a decade experience hit me up
Nearly finished a full company of DCMS PBI! Hereβs some before-and-after: two on the right after a dusting with powdered sandy-coloured pastel, two on the left before. #battletech

Haven't done any #GhostRegiment mechs in a while, but with the new #Kurita packs hitting my desk, I've been getting back into them.

While I enjoy painting mechs in official faction colors, I also wanted ro paint mercenary force of my own. So, here are first few mechs from "assembly line" of Crimson Raptors.

The local conversation on this stuff was hilarious because the cops threw a hissy fit over the city council telling them they could only wear the woodland camo they have for some reason if they were actually in the woods

Now that I see the competition I'm honestly kinda shocked the Space Wolves diorama piece didn't take it, that must have been like a hundred hours of painting.

11.02.2026 23:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This has been cooking my brain for a week because you can just effortlessly defeat the idea with dimensional analysis. I did some napkin math and in order to just get the solar panels in orbit for that stupid 100 gw/yr figure you'd need about a starship launching every 100 minutes with 100% success
