A bunch of us took an eye-opening "Petrostate Tour" of Washington DC yesterday. Stops included the American Petroleum Institute (seen here), the American Gas Association, the Interstate Natural Gas Association. Bastions all of the fossil-fuel industry's capture of our government and economy.

An inspiration to us all: the nameless four who projected this onto Windsor Castle. The culprits were charged with "malicious communications." We could use a little more of that on this side of the pond, methinks.

Resistance is alive and well in the United States Protests of Trump may not look like the mass marches in 2017, but they're far more numerous and frequent β€” and also becoming more strategic.

Compared to 2017, today's actions are more numerous, more spread out and more creative, according to Erica Chenoweth, Jeremy Pressman, and Soha Hammam in Waging Nonviolence. But we could learn a thing or two from Denmark in the 1940s or Czechoslovakia in 1968. wagingnonviolence.org/2025/03/resi...
