Although honestly I scoff at the idea of a Morrowind remaster not because I don't think it deserves one, but because the community around it is already putting a metric ass ton of work doing that already. I don't need or want Morrowind receiving the Unreal Engine treatment like Oblivion did. Eugh.

I could ramble unreasonably long about how Bethesda took all the wrong lessons from Morrowind, and how comparing it to their latest releases shows how doggedly Bethesda has been dumbing their games down and sanding every corner to a dull edge for the last 20 years as if that's what people wanted

Yeah lmfao, Morrowind has established itself as a classic YEARS ago.

And as far as writing, environment design, and worldbuilding goes, is the superior Elder Scrolls game.
