Some important changes are coming to SNAP soon. SNAP recipients who qualify as "Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents" will be subject to the three-month time limit for receiving benefits, unless they receive an exemption or report 80 hours a month of work activities.

Food-aid cuts threaten Oregon families, Hoyle warns, calling the policy 'moral negligence'
At an event at Food for Lane County, Dem. U.S. Rep. Val Hoyle said more than 90,000 Oregonians risk losing food benefits if they canβt find employment by Jan. 1, 2026.
