"Hoyle said she is working with the state legislature and talking 'to every single Republican' she can and asking, 'Is this actually what you intended when you made these cuts? And if not, will you work with me to get them reinstated?'"

Congress just passed the biggest cuts to food assistance in generations: What does this mean for school meals?

In Oregon, over 94% of schools currently use a program called CEP to offer free meals to all students. But CEP eligibility depends on SNAP and Medicaid enrollment. Read more in the slides.
