Marginalized populations are more significantly impacted than others by the problems most of us are worried about. A cis, straight, white person has a much easier time finding a job with a living wage, obtaining safe housing, staying healthy, and accessing medical care.

Being "colorblind" and "blind to gender" is to be blind to the unique culture, experiences, and identities that people possess and that impact their lives, both positively and negatively. Blindness to identity erases identity.
