Went through these biases during a meeting. I knew a few & learned about the rest. It's something I'm going to share with my department as we start our new semester in a couple of weeks w/new students.

I'm doing something similar as well. Tuesday & Wednesday, my level 2 & 4 are completing the STAMP exam & my level 1s will begin the speaking & writing parts of their final exam.

I made these. They were supposed to be small baubles for the tree, but I couldn't get it scaled down enough. So they are hoing to be laterns for my porch. I also have a giant white one. I think they are cute. #WinterSolstice

Just finished printing new stickers for the teachers in my dept. Now if only my Cricut would cut them out correctly so I didn't have to do it by hand. #Cricutcrafts #teacherlife

There is an activity called "1 dice, 1 pencil" that my students enjoy. I think it is from Comprehensible Classroom. Great for grammar worksheets. I've also done the grammar grid where they roll for subject & verb, the upper levels get an extra die for tense.

I am really enjoying using Canva's Dream Lab for a story retell after the break. I distracted myself by creating images for new stickers for myself & a colleague. #langchat

In my department, those small activities/assignments are not always graded but need to be done in order to request a retake on an assessment. We can put assignments in our gradebook as "not for grading" & give it a score that won't impact their grade but shows it was done.
