But would anyone believe the findings in a post truth world? I wouldn’t put it past either Israel or the US, they both have ‘form’ on such things.

Out of interest, considering a lot of these strikes are drones, how does anyone confirm who’s drone it is? Couldn’t Israel or the US send a drone to convince ‘allies’ to back the illegal war?

There’s a big difference to saying a flat no to involvement, such as Spain has done, and allowing the use of airbases, putting us firmly on the side of the US and Israeli war felons.

Is that Deano at the front there?

It’s an illegal war, started by an Orange flesh sack without the agreement or even consultation of congress. It’s an agreement to cooperate from Starmer, without a vote in Parliament. Without the agreement of the UN Security Council. Yet another illegal Middle East intervention.

So much for abiding by international law

I totally agree.

What that none of my friends like war? Seeing asnI don’t have all my American friends in my U.K. house, apart from my American husband, you’ll have to take my word for it! Here’s My husband now, he says none of his family and friends ‘like war’. How exactly would you like more proof? 🙄

That’s such a huge generalisation of millions of people, many of which just want peace and a slightly easier life. None of the Americans I know ‘like war’.

Exactly

I was going by the definition. My comment says ‘it’s dumb’, not ‘they’re dumb’ so clearly not being ableist, acc to this:

‘Ableism is discrimination and social prejudice against physically or mentally disabled people.’

Sorry to disappoint. ‘Like all liberals’ though!

I called the concept dumb, not a person, so I wasn’t being ableist. I’m pretty sure you know that.

Why do critics of Corbyn and now Polanski voters talk about a Messiah? It’s just dumb. They’re leaders with a better ideology and perspective than the other leaders. That’s it. No religion needed.

The Mail tried with their front page bullshit about the ‘Green danger’ the day before the by-election. They were relentless during the Corbyn leadership. A daily battering of bullshit. Why aren’t there legal standards of sanity and truth that the rags have to abide by? Why isn’t this enforced?

And Corbyn?

27.02.2026 23:06 — 👍 1    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

Absolute bollocks. Nigel Farage has been on QT so many more times than Corbyn or Polanski. He gets so much BBC airtime. Hugely disproportionate.

Discussing politics gets exhausting, but we kept it civil, despite disagreeing.

Corbyn is on the side of peace, and democracy, not dictatorship, be it Russian or the current American loon. If you haven’t realised that about him, you know nothing of his political career.
Wars have many factors, a lot of profit, back room deals, and nuance. Corbyn is a threat to the war economy.

Hindsight may prove him right. It usually does .He has reservations with NATO’s actions re Russia.

He consistently condemned the violence on both sides, met with Sinn Fein members, as Tory govt MP’s did in secret, and advocated for a Utd Ireland and peace, a deeply unpopular stance at the time. Opening up dialogue with all factions paved the way for peace. He’s a pacifist, a negotiator.

I suppose the issue here is trust. Because of trying to implement these policies they have lost the trust of their voters. Sorry to say I think they will tank in future elections. This govt is hated, not trusted, not believed. They only have themselves and Labour Together to blame.

All about selling your party to the corporate donors to get in, including private healthcare. Corbyn’s money came from public donations, swelling the membership to be the biggest in Europe. Corbyn faced ridiculous amounts of lies and propaganda, the Israeli Lobby, Bannon/Breitbart, etc etc
