Sanity prevailed, and 10 hours of our lives wasted in the process.

For the record, fluoride doesn’t corrode anymore than chlorine does to pipes which is to say very little.

Even more funny is, depending on the water source, fluoride can already be present in water due to erosion and other factors.

I’m not an expert either but all chemicals used in this fashion are byproducts because… shockingly… you can’t just scoop up a bunch of rock or soil and pick out fluoride atoms. Typically fluoride is made as a byproduct of phosphate production which, surprise! is also used in water treatment!

So she’s got a problem with how democracy works?

There’s alot of interesting factoids about Chlorine, it’s a very fascinating element. For instance, it’s kept in a gaseous state cause to it boils -34 C.

I’m glad they pointed this out, as someone who has taken classes on water treatment at Polytech, it’s crazy how much water needs to be treated from raw to be safe and how controlled the doses have to be. But it needs to be done otherwise no safe water to drink.

It’s almost painful how much Turnbull is fishing for some “gotcha” here…

Considering how not really much happened in this meeting, I’m gonna hope that it’s just a nothing burger and it’s just a normal reason for the leave.
