Pearl's alive! She was just hospitalized for the entirety of September due to eating that radioactive great value shrimp. But she is a-okay now so expect to see her more often again.

While waiting for their pals at the local convenience store, Yoshikazu and Tomoko pass the time in their own ways. A quick nap for one and for another, a realization that maybe she bullied this person as a child not because she's mean but because of blooming romantic feelings that never really left.

Drew some of the gals from Strange Hill High(at least the ones with more than 1 line lol). Felt like experimenting with drawing some oddball puppets into my style. Some were easy(like Becky and Stephanie) and some gave me a headache(lookin' at you, Samia) but I like the end results.

A quick colored sketch for today. Tomoko and Yoshikazu attempt to get closer. Well..Tomo wants to get closer to him. Her little itty-bitty crush clouds the obvious hatred Yosh has for this gal. Or maybe she likes the fact that he hates her guts..hmm idk Tomoko is a weird lass after all.

Since the rest of the group was busy, Sakaye decided to invite Asuna to the aquarium. Makes sense since Asuna likes the ocean and fish while Sakaye likes to uhhh..spend time with her bestie. Its a win-win for the two!

Two years ago, I publicly showed off "Simple Life" and now..I still don't have Book 1 close to done lol. I blame the fact that I write so scatterbrainly. Anyway this drawing is more of a concept idea. This drawing would be shown off at the end of Book 4 as a time-skip image after the finale.

While waiting for friend to get all nice and clean looking, Yoshikazu tries to endure the needless yapping of lil ol' Leiko. Its gotta suck for Yosh but what can he do at this point? Patience is a virtue here..

A boring evening for the Ushio/Arimoto family. No good programs on the television, renting a movie costs too much and they have played that ol' board game since Ikue was like 6 or something. At least they spending some time as a family...even if its the most boring thing.

Surely it has nothing to do with how she and Tomo "flirt". Its not like Pearl's lungs are filled with smoke. Pfft that'd be weird

Aito and his pals play a highly intensive game of cards! Which game?....idk. They just picked up a pack of cards and sorta made up a game. Aito's winning so it may be a bit rigged.

A lil flashback drawing of a young Pearl and Yoshikazu being the expert pirates they think they are and uncovering hidden treasures beyond the waters(Its just a river that leads to a smallish lake nearby Yosh's house. There is no gold)

Pearl is usually Yoshikazu's go-to "girlfriend" for whenever his family is invited to fancy parties and the likes or whatevs. Pearl...well she uhh likes to get into character at these events. Something, something sells the facade better. Yosh doesn't mind the poor performance. He thinks its cute.

A marketable and stylish Pearl plush(not available due to my own lack of funding).

A remake of an old concept of a marketable Pearl plushie. A soft, cuddly, and throwable friend who doesn't even ask for snacks every Thursday. Though she won't help if you sprain your ankle...She is too scared to call 119.

Time for the classic anime beach episode trope of smashing a watermelon with a baseball bat. A classic bonding experience. An experience that Leiko is going to uphold for years to come.

Tomoko helps out our dearest Pearl with her since Pear-Pear is kinda neglectful of her appearance. Though with these two lovebirds...It might be more difficult to actually get things done and make it look good.
