The weirdest part to me is how much of it is supposed to be “comedy” or comedy-adjacent and yet so frequently the “jokes” are just the laziest, unclever, unfunny garbage.

Our team and partners were on the Hill to support @housedemocrats.bsky.social leading the charge to defend our communities and oppose this bill. #VoteNo
Republicans' Big Ugly Bill is the most anti-environmental piece of legislation in U.S. history.
This bill would gut clean energy and raise our costs while giving massive handouts to the fossil fuel industry.
Big Oil may as well have written this legislation.
I put that song in our office music slack channel a few weeks ago to keep everyone motivated

- Tariffs, costs up for everything
- Medicaid cuts, increasing costs
- Energy shortage, raising electricity rates
- Trillion dollars in deficit

Republicans' Big Ugly Bill would increase medical and energy bills for millions, gut clean energy, and add $4 TRILLION to the deficit — all to pay for tax cuts for the ultra-rich.
It's time to kill this extreme, costly bill.

If you didn't already think the #BigUglyBill was essentially a ban on clean energy, you should now. Overnight GOP added a new tax on wind and solar while giving a new subsidy to COAL, most of which gets exported. Meanwhile the rest of us will pay more for less energy.
