He knows is not welcomed by his nephew, but he couldn't help but worry when he saw him crying. So he slowly walked up to him and sat down next to him in silence, hoping his presence could help him feel less alone.

Xuanyu hadn't heard anyone walk up to him, so it's not surprising the way he startles, almost dropping the spoon he was using. He turns to the man, wondering where he'd come from. He looked like a very pristine cultivator.
