i like to add these little details in my writing, about the implications of the social aspects not just for the interaction between men and women, but for the interaction of gender on the spectrum

i'm thinking about the war of gestures, and deep gendered coding in a patriarchal society where circeus offers his hand to a woman with a down-turned palm--the traditionally feminine part of the handshake--and the woman in question performing the masculine one without missing a beat
