Matsuyama shot -1 in round one while losing just under a stroke around and approaching the green. He is one of the best ball-strikers in the world, so regressing to the mean would give him plenty of room to fire another -1 on Friday. (3/3)

Scheffler had a very mediocre day in all the places he excels (32nd in SG approach, 5/14 fairways hit, 57th in SG around the green). Huge bounce-back opportunity for him. Last year, he shot 65 on Friday at Colonial. (2/3)
