My issues is that have a player in the squad that is unable to play 90+ minutes at least once a week is taking a spot away from someone who could. We know she has struggled this season and has cost us games. We should have let her retire with dignity and signed Sam Coffey. Now we might miss out.

I think that it also doesn't help that the top leagues are moving further away from the other European leagues. Players are now coming from those leagues in a less game-reafy state. Not all, but more and more will struggle when they get their big moves.

This team has never been able to be consistent. Once again, we look like we don't even train together.

Some late night thinking. Are we sure that Vic's contract runs out this summer? Most of our other ACL players were given contract extensions during their rehab. Obviously, without knowing what's going on inside the club, it appears they are yet to offer an extension.

I guess that's why we are looking to do some extra work around the Emirates when we expand.

Can't they spend as much as they want on this stuff without it being a negative against PSR, but they can add all the earnings into their revenue to boost psr spending.

We only paid for 2 players last year. Rosa and dvd. For a total of less than 500k. But we signed Fox and Mariona on free's. They probably would have cost well over 1 million combined.

We have 7 right now. We need 8. Kim is retiring in the summer, and Beth is 90% likely to not be offered a new contract. The academy players aren't ready yet. We will likely need 2 sign at least 2 in the summer.

It's annoying for us because she would be the only other choice instead of Walsh, but we need homegrown players in the summer, so seems unlikely.
