Starting the next illustration, I am really enjoying illustrating this book I love being able to paint with different styles!

Book is getting close to finished, well not really but I can imagine it done now... Here is the start of the lastest painting that will illustrate a story about a storm. Still a ways to go but I think it will be cool!

Started the next painting for the story about a dragon hunter, it is very very difficult but I am super happy with it so far!

Finished another painting to serve as an illustration for my horror short story book the story takes place on a sail boat, here's the painting!

First two stories in the new book are nearly finished just a few (hundred) more drafts to go until they are the polished jewels I know they can be. In the meantime I am already working on the third story! The book is coming along quick!

First oil painting for use as an illustration for my new book is getting close to being finished! Can't wait to finish this multimedia work!

Starting a new painting! Nothing like carrying a big canvas on a train! #nocarlifestyle!

Finished a new painting, let me know what you think! The next one is going to be a big one! Also I found a new writing group so hopefully that should speed up my progress quite a bit!

Almost finished with Freya! She has been a struggle! As always oil on canvas this one is 50 cm x 50cm I think, DM me for details or inquiries or commissions!

Just putting some finishing touches on this painting of Loki, let me know what you think. The book is making some slow progress but it is still a long way to go!

Out of good canvases so I am messing around repainting an old painting until the holiday weekend is over and I can go buy a new one! Very early sketching stage still I need to wait a little so the underpainting can dry a bit... I also need to figure out some of the angles !

I think another painting is finished! Thor is now ready for the show! Of course I have a long way to go to get it finished but I think I need to start looking for a gallery to put it in soon, hit me up if you would like to have the full show in your gallery next year!

Finally, power is back on after an all day nationwide outage here in Spain. I swear the universe is trying so hard to stop me from getting work done!

Things are coming along!
Who knew you could get such bright colors out of oil paint!

Things are finally turning around and I actually have a little bit of free time to think. Expect more writing forthwith! I have also finally figured out my new painting series about understanding desire using the lens of the Norse Pantheon. To start, I chose... Um Hel, goddess of death. But I'm fine

Finally figured out my next series of paintings! I just need to finish the last of the in-between paintings before I can start. I haven't decided though if I am going to limit my palette of colors or not though. Here is the last of the kind of random paintings that live between the shows.

Hmm, fallas is over at last, if you don't live in Valencia you won't understand what a relief that is from all the noise and fireworks at all hours of the day and night. Maybe I can get back to writing tonight! Here's the latest painting I have been working on! It is early days but you get the gist!

It's hard to work during Fallas, but I am trying to get some writing done and I am still painting though I am sort of at a loss for what to focus on in my next series... Here's the latest wip.

Sorry it has been a minute since I have posted, unfortunately I am a little stalled in the writing department as it is grant and proposal writing season at the moment. I have applied to a lot of different residencies and shoes so wish me luck!

I think this painting might be finished, oil on canvas 1m x 1m, now I need to go out into the city to try to find a new canvas! The book is a little stalled out due to general exhaustion but I will get back to the grind soon! Maybe today, who knows?

Well the paintings are proceeding and the writing is crawling its way forward. I had to take my father to the opthamologist and I saw this sign which seems a little cruel... I will also add the latest pic of the painting, tomorrow I will work on the face!
