I went to my Congressman's local office today. First off, they were surprised that I was there. They said they had been getting phone calls, but I was the first walk-in. That said, the phones were not ringing off the hook. If the DC phone lines are busy, try calling the local office.

Every time I open up this app it’s to something like ‘John Garglemyballs now controls the IRS’ and I think ‘haha what a funny bit’ and then I scroll down to an NPR headline saying the same thing and I die a little inside.

Same and same. Found out tonight that Jimmy O. Yang will be in town in April, and it’s yet another show I’m not able to attend. I get used to life inside this house, right until I’m reminded that there’s a life outside of it I miss dearly.
