UNE maps Maine beach dune loss from 2024 storms More than a quarter of coastal dunes at 4 southern Maine beaches were lost during the historic January 2024 storms and researchers say the dunes have yet to fully recover.

All are vital roles within the journal and we would love to have you on board. Volunteering at Geomorphica is a great way to contribute to a more equitable geomorphology community and can also broaden your experience and skillset for your C.V.

On our communications team, our job is to promote the journal through posts like these and at conferences. The EDI team ensures diversity, inclusion and accessibilty across the journal. The tech team is in charge of maintaining our website.

Everyone is welcome, but we are especially looking for volunteers from Asia and the southern hemisphere to gain some balance across the teams.

We are currently seeking volunteers for our communications, tech and EDI teams!
