Geomorphica

All are vital roles within the journal and we would love to have you on board. Volunteering at Geomorphica is a great way to contribute to a more equitable geomorphology community and can also broaden your experience and skillset for your C.V.

On our communications team, our job is to promote the journal through posts like these and at conferences. The EDI team ensures diversity, inclusion and accessibilty across the journal. The tech team is in charge of maintaining our website.

Everyone is welcome, but we are especially looking for volunteers from Asia and the southern hemisphere to gain some balance across the teams.

We are currently seeking volunteers for our communications, tech and EDI teams!

The authors quantified the bedload flux differences between perennial and ephemeral channels across a wide range of channel types and flow strength conditions. The ephemeral dataset is statistically distinct, showing greater average transport in all flow conditions - even during flooding events. 2/2

(2/2) Multimedia content can also be embedded into PDFs, though the streaming quality usually tends to be poor. We encourage authors to hyperlink to the video instead to improve quality, but it is still ok to embed video if you wish.

Official answer! (1/2) OJS does not have the functionality to stream content, so while we cannot embed video directly into the OJS site, we can link the video to an external site (such as YouTube, Vimeo, Kaltura, etc.).

Hi Dan! I don't think it's possible to embed them within the manuscript, because only the abstract + graphical abstract are read through the website with the paper itself downloadable as a pdf. But we are a relatively new journal and no one has asked this before, so I will check and get back to you.

You want to know how many submissions circulate through our system? We have had a strong start to 2025 with 2 new submissions in the last days, making 23 in total! Geomorphica is a community effort, and we are extremely grateful to everyone that has submitted or plans on submitting to us. Thank you!
