Legacy news orgs are no longer impartial or even relevant for the most part. They've been dying a slow death for a while and accelerating. CBS and now ABC are unreliable for capituating to the government. Cable news has few hours of good coverage. Overall, too many ridiculous panels and bad takes.

Usually, I don't like the idea of shutting down the government for leverage. We are not in a normal budget situation. The Executive Branch is impounding $$$ illegally at their own whim. If there was ever a time to shut it down, it's to prevent this abuse of power. And ultimately protect jobs and $$.
