Hope on the other side of tragedy: A social worker’s role in organ transplant services - @theU Sam Dewey’s experience in the field of organ donation underscores the range of opportunities available within social work and the value of staying open to nontraditional paths.

🌱 After earning a bachelor’s in medical illustration, Sam Dewey saw how COVID-19 exacerbated the #MentalHealth crisis in Utah, changing the trajectory of her career. Today, the #MSW alumna brings compassion and expertise to organ transplant patients.
