¿Cuando Kurvitz compara a Kim con un gato y dice que tiene una voz hipnóticamente bonita?* Same! Todavía pienso en aquello de "Oh man, he looks so devastatingly *cool* with that cigarette".

Quan diuen que la literatura és elitista s'obliden de la part en que no tenir-hi accés (o les eines per entendre-la, pensar-la i gaudir-la) és el que la converteix en elitista.
I la clau de tot plegat és l'escola i les biblioteques, i cal defensar-les amb tot.

Translators read to decide what’s important and what’s less important, then re-create what they’ve decided is important; the debates about whether to translate literally or for the overall sense, whether to domesticate a term or leave it foreign sounding, whether to translate rhymed and metered poetry with rhyme and meter, and all the rest are pointless, because – obviously – it depends.
Finally reading this great essay on what translators do and what language is! This part in particular hit home for me.

Y me suena que en Humble Bundle a veces tienen versiones para PC de juegos tipo el Aventureros al tren o el Splendor.
