RIP to inspirational movie poster legend, Drew Struzan. Everything he put his pen to ended up being some canonical representation of a movie we now love. Often, the posters are more famous than the movies themselves. Poster auteurism!

This was the first real test of our design tokens in product and it was pretty damn successful. Meant that we were able to change a lot more of the product to meet the rebrand than we'd initially expected, which was super exciting.

Rewatched it all fairly recently and (mid season dips aside) it’s still really fantastic.

I think the other issue is a large group of people tuned in for just the ending so we’re never going to get it (or just didn’t watch it and only know what they’ve been incorrectly told second hand)

in addition to being a humiliating flop, this moment is yet another baffling example of tech companies trying to market an AI tool that doesn't fulfill any meaningful purpose. this guy just needs a RECIPE BOOK. or, like, a tiktok.
