You can't be content with MSQ alone and relying on the game to make choices for you. Set your own goals. Tell yourself "I'm gonna learn DRS!" And join the proper discord to get a learning group for the content!
You can do it if you approach it like a game rather than your life.

Yes pugging Savage and maybe sometimes EX is daunting and a crapshoot but who cares? Learning parties exist and people can teach and guide you. Oh, you got a bad group? Who cares! Move on to the next and forget the assholes! Grow thicker skin and realize those bad players are pennies to the gems.

I say this cause despite what random shit you hear and the people who stop playing bitching about the way things are yet refusing to play other MMO games for as committed as ff14, the game is still fun if you just focus less on the number game and more on the actual game itself.

I feel that along the way, with the lock down and overburdening of players during the covid era and some later half of shadowbringers, player expectation of the population is overinflated. Yes people come and go but don't just stop at "my friends" being the reason for the game alone.

If you have some weird trauma effect cause of one douchebag or abandonment thing in the content or whatever, you need to move on and play for yourself and fun. Don't let others dictate who you are. Be confident but not arrogant. Accept aid when you can.

Trust me, it clicks when you play enough of the content here and there like Eureka or Bozja even the deep dungeons. None of this quitting after one bad experience shit.

If you feel bored in ff14, give the content you dismiss a genuine chance. Not the whole go in for a few minutes thing. Legit sit down and play it every so often.
Develop a habit of on and off even if you think the content isn't appealing to you. That's how a friend got into crafting on the side.

The re-release of Tactics reminded me of my youth. Of days on the PS1 with a pal making builds and going through the narrative.

And how it was one of my most hyper focused games ever.
So hyper focused I've barely touched ff14 at all for dailies and i'm behind on my weapon grind.

It's quite fun. I imported the PSP games as they came out and even the Vita version. Managed to start perfecting them while being stylish with the touch pad on the back. Getting all outfits and stuff. It really feels much easier with an intended controller.

I really do not wanna ask for aid. Especially since up till now for ALL the shit i've gotten and the money amount total stolen, I just gotta beg...

I have read it. I can vouch for it. It's honestly just a very relaxing vibe with no real "existentialism" underneath. It's the most Slice of Life a Dystopia can be. It's very quiet and worth the read. It has Two 2 episode OVAs but they are better watched AFTER you read the manga.

I didn't mention the Materiel Containers as I want to focus on the items most people would be using more. You also can always spend the GC seals on things like Coke for small Gil but if you play regularly enough, buying the three above items saves more gil.
