basically it means when new characters are added, they are not a meta replacing character (As in you need it or fall behind) as most early entry characters are STILL amazing to use and balanced out in most cases.

Unlike other gacha where a new character=get it or you won't be good.

and better: bad SSR outfits can go on existing better SR outfits if you are so incline to use the outfit with another skill.

and enhances gameplay in a subtle but impactful way that I think majority of the forbidden stuff tends to neglect. They want to change the game away from FF14's aesthetic and environment for sake of what appeals to them.

All upscales do is just make things a bit better in terms of some figures and the like. It can clip horribly yes but it is nice to have the option. Some even allow certain parts to toggle on and off like this one where i could remove the cape or shoulder pad.

they were and the stories associated with them were a nice mix of quality and impact. People still say PLD and GLD are the weakest but I say "What if instead they're more simple?". Not every job needs to have DRK level writing and some take a bit to be in their own like Early Scholar.

is part of the problem. They Use to sort of educate through quests in flavor how jobs act but had to stop doing that when they shifted away from Job Quests altogether in SHB.
Also the game still fails to teach players about certain skills like Esuna.

and then upgrade as they go along. They did this week with RDM, SAM, DNC and even GBN where even at level 50-60 they feel complete with later skills just adding onto the base rotation or abilities they have. Endwalker onward jobs are all built around the current content and not about legacy which-

Even with that tutorial, Jobs like RPR/SGE/VPR and PCT are all abysmal to play at lower levels. RPR does not feel like RPR until level 80 and VPR isn't exactly a good VPR until 90. They should really just make weaker versions of abilities earlier, introduce the main point of the job at 50-
