I've never read trimax but I really liked stampede and this feels like such a weirdly bland sequel to it. It feels like we've had 7 episodes of like... nothing happening. Chars say empty words to each other in the same 20 cycled BGs.

Ren tackles Goro while Goro holds a smoking gun. The Phantom Thieves in pajamas look on in horror.

Ren and Goro sit on a bed in a cozy bedroom. On a nearby desk is a Jack Frost plush. Hanging on the wall are several posters: a Phantom Thieves poster, an advertisement for the Jazz Jin, and a poster of Mona looking dour with 'Hang in there Mona' written beneath him. Ren is in his pajamas and Goro is in his Metaverse costume, sans helmet and one of his gauntlets. Ren's hand covers Goro's bare hand on the bed as he looks at him with an adoring expression, and Goro smiles without looking back at him.
